How it works, however, is unknown until now.

After the software development kit for the Windows Phone 7 has been hacked and unlocked, many techies were able to see what’s in store for the soon-to-be-released smartphone. This includes how to create a Word document in OneNote, which features a very minimalistic interface. According to Microsoft, many users simply want to make minor edits and leave comments to Office documents while on the go, in contrast to making large edits using copy and paste.

Take note that the Office apps included in the emulator may not be the final version.

As part of its drive to keep it free from any wireless service providers, Google is now bringing its Nexus One Android phone to Sprint after AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile have expressed support to the device formerly tagged as the Google Phone.

Although there is no set price yet, representatives of Sprint suggested it would use a similar pricing scheme used by T-Mobile for the Nexus One. Traditionally, Sprint provides a US$70-per-month subscription with its Any Mobile, Anytime Plan that includes unlimited text messages, data access, and voice calls along with a two-year contract.

Even a simple task as leaving paper notes containing instructions or reminders on the fridge door can amount to considerable trash after sometime. A simple yet modern alternative would be to do away with the paper and record messages on video instead. That is what this unique Green House Video Note Fridge Magnet can provide.

It may look like a simple device but the Green-House GH-DM14M Video Note Fridge Magnet may actually be quite useful for a busy household where getting in touch with other family members generally happens around the fridge door.
Video messages up to 30 seconds long can be recorded with the built-in camera and mic on the device. A LED light lits up whenever there is a new message available and can be viewed on a 1.44 inch screen. This digital memo magnet contain a rechargeable battery that can be recharged via a USB port. It is available at GeekStuff4Ufor 5,980 Japanese Yen. That would be around US$66.

That can be fixed with the help of the Paul Reed Smith Guitarbud interface cable! Simply plug one end with your iDevice and the other ends with the guitar—or bass—and headphones; and you get yourself an instant recording studio!

Measuring about 6 feet, the cable makes use of the guitar’s signal as it replaces the microphone input. Because the generated sound is in analog mode, the Guitarbud also works with most of guitar-related apps in the market.

The Guitarbud interface cable is now available for only US$29.95 , which also comes with an optional added-value protection warranty.

That number is way, way low compared to how PlayStation Portable sold 667,961 units during the same time period.

This is why Sony is seriously considering relaunching the PSP Go with a tweaked-up marketing campaign and drastic price cuts. At 26,800 yen per PSP Go, it is just a few thousand yens lower than a PS3 .

And to add insult to injury, HP is showing off its upcoming tablet that features Flash and AIR.

In response to the iPad’s advertisement that was seen during this year’s Academy Awards, the Windows 7-based Slate was presented by playing full episodes of MTV’s “The City” and Flash games. It also shows how the Slate utilizes multi-touch pinch-to-zoom functions on its capacitive touchscreen display.

The Slate also has an enhanced desktop, adding a theme with large icons as well as letting users “star” their favorite shortcuts. It also has an additional menu bar on top of the screen and a floating keyboard that can be moved around the screen.

We still do not know about specifications, pricing, and release date of the Slate.

If you have bought an Energizer Duo as is, your computer would not be in trouble. The problem, however, lies once you have downloaded the battery monitoring software for Windows. Owners of the Duo for Mac need not worry.

To remove the Trojan, you need to uninstall the software first, which would remove the Windows registry value that executes the Trojan. Restart your computer, then go to the System32 directory and delete the file named “arucer.dll.” You can also use a firewall to block access to 7777/tcp.
